21 July 2007. What was only our second hike of 2007 proved to be a sharp fitness excercise. The walk was inspired by the view from a previous hike but the goal of reaching a plateau below the Wettersteinspitze proved to be too far and indeed probably impossible. The hike up Grünkopf is leafy and enclosed and the summit offers only a partial view of the surroundings.
